Wæm Mìz Hǐz (/mɨz/ /hɪz/ [scarce] [celebrity]) is a subtropical Large Town located in the Liwbărǐm District of the Federation of Alveria.

The name Wæm Mìz Hǐz is derived from the Constructi language, as Wæm Mìz Hǐz was founded by Treshe Trêgë, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Wæm Mìz Hǐz has a yearly average temperature of 23°C (73°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 13°C (55°F). Wæm Mìz Hǐz receives an average of 219 cm/y (86 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Wæm Mìz Hǐz covers an area of nearly 7 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1368 m (4488 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Wæm Mìz Hǐz was founded durring the late 13th century in winter of the year 1156, by Treshe Trêgë. The establishment of Wæm Mìz Hǐz suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Wæm Mìz Hǐz which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Wæm Mìz Hǐz was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Mìz Hǐz is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Wæm Mìz Hǐz's natural decorations nor waterways.

Wæm Mìz Hǐz has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Cultural Notes

A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.

Wæm Mìz Hǐz's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.
